Staff & Board of Directors

Brianna Treleven, Executive Director

Brianna was born and raised in Mentor, Ohio and grew up visiting all the museums and parks Northeast Ohio has to offer. She holds a BFA in Fine Art Photography with a minor in Art History from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MLIS with a specialization in Museum Studies, Archives, and Special Collections from Kent State University. Among her decade of museum experience, Brianna has interned at several Northeast Ohio museums, hunted through the Andy Warhol Museum archives, and served as an Ohio History Service Corps member assisting twelve organizations. She joined Shaker Historical Society in January 2020 and has since worked diligently with staff and board to expand the scope of the museum's collections, programs, and stories toward becoming a local history museum that is truly for all.

Brianna's hobbies include hiking, visiting museums (of course), reading, building Legos and jigsaw puzzles, doing her best on New York Times crossword puzzles, and continually searching for the best gluten-free pizza.
