Celebrate autumn at Gala in the Grove on September 26!

Join the Shaker Historical Society on Friday, September 26 for our 4th Annual Shaker Soirée! Inspired by SHS's first social event, a community garden party in 1948, we are thrilled to invite you to an evening filled with live music, autumn-inspired hors d'oeuvres, and seasonal drinks among our heirloom apple trees. Our Gala in the Grove kicks off a celebration of fall and is followed by our annual AppleFest community festival on September 27.

All guests will enjoy beer, wine, signature cocktails, and seasonal bites from Bon Vivant Catering inspired by apples and the autumn harvest. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free* options will be available. The Garden Party takes place Friday, September 26, 2025 from 8:00-10:00 PM in our intimate museum gardens with an heirloom apple grove.

Guests with Visionary Tickets are invited to arrive early for a 7:00 PM Visionary Reception, featuring a specialty cocktail, a behind-the-scenes museum tour, and admission to the Garden Party.

Cocktail tables and limited seating will be available throughout the evening, and garden party attire is encouraged.

The Shaker Soirée is our premier annual benefit to support our mission to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Shaker Heights to inspire curiosity and foster engagement. Proceeds benefit Shaker Historical Society operations, programming, exhibitions, and collections.
