All guests will have full access to beer, wine, signature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres from Bon Vivant Catering inspired by international cuisines (with options for vegetarian and gluten free attendees), and desserts in an intimate garden setting.  This year's event will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. on museum grounds with complimentary valet parking. A pre-event champagne celebration brings you unlimited champagne, a behind-the-scenes museum tour, and garden party admission. Cocktail tables and limited seating will be available throughout the evening. Garden party attire is encouraged.

This event is a loving homage to our former Gracious Gardens tours and a nod to the Shaker Historical Society's first planned social event, a community garden party, in 1948. The Shaker Soirée is now our premier annual benefit to support our mission to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of Shaker Heights to inspire curiosity and foster engagement between diverse communities and the people, events, and stories that shape local history. Proceeds benefit Shaker Historical Society operations, programming, exhibitions, and collections.
